I should have listened to the warning and should have passed. Set something up with Jockinthecity for last night, but he was a no-show. At his own hotel.

 

No problems setting up, and we had a brief conversation that gave me some confidence he wasn't a danger or a flake. He texted me early evening to push back a half-hour, which was fine by me. As per usual, I texted him when I left my place and again when I hit the lobby of the hotel - we'd agreed to meet in the bar for a drink. No response. Texted again 10 minutes later, no response. Skulked around the lobby for about another 20 minutes with no response, then left. A teeny, tiny part of me was concerned that he might have been left unconscious in a ditch, kidnapped by aliens, attacked at a Trump rally, but he's logged on to RM a couple of time since, so I assume he's safe. And a dickhead.

 

What a waste of a Saturday night and of a perfectly good Cialis ;-)
