Tonight while watching "Amish in the City"- which I totally LOVED, there was a Gamebox, or Gameboy, or something type commercial that featured an old end-of-

disco-beginning-of-New-Wave electronic dance song. It features a throbbing synthesizer beat (remniscient of Giorgio Moroder) and a breathy female vocalist, kinda like Berlin, but I don't think it was them. The chorus is something like "beautiful electric", possibly the name of the song?

Anyone out there who can name that tune for me? It's a blast from my past, and it's driving me crazy that I can't pin it down!

The band featured on the new Nintendo commercial is Goldfrapp, an electronica, hipster band that's popular in NYC lounges.

I believe the song is called Train.

By golly, y'all are right about that song!

Thank you! I can't say why I felt I'd danced to it in my young adult years, but it feels sooo familiar.

As far as those adorable Amish boys go, I do hope we'll have an episode where the token queen takes them all out to West Hollywood for an evening. Too bad they're not all old enough to go clubbing.
