The doubt is rational and justified. It's their JOB to act. There is no reason not to make it as enjoyable as possible for them, but I think the energy is better spent on the non sexual things. Being squeaky clean. Treating them with the utmost respect. Complementing them on the things they do well. Making them feel appreciated. Being interested in them as a human being. That's just me and I could just be a terrible lay.
