"The Stair Case" ABC TV News. Thursday July 22, 2004. 9-11 PM ET. The Michael Peterson Case. ABC will detail the 2001 murder trial of author Michael Peterson. The revelation of his bisexuality and his storybook marriage. The murder of his wife in their million dollar home in Durham, N.C. The reporters will look at his frequent contact with gay male escorts via the internet. His online chat room meetings with a gay Marine. The DA claims he killed his wife, when she found out about his secret life.

It appears HOOBOY's site made it on the air. when the escort relating to this case was asked something to the effect of where did this guy find you he said he had reviews on the male4male escort site.

It was a very interesting Doc. I think it was wrong for the prosecution to use his sexual activities outside of the marriage to bias the jury. As long as he was willing to stipulate that these affairs occured, the prosecution should have let that alone.

 

Basically, they used the "Gay Card" to try to make any straight people on the jury who have personal issues about homosexuallity, feel he was bad because he was gay.

 

I really don't know how I would have voted if I were on that jury. I was pretty much feeling he was innocent until I found out his first wife died the same way. For me though, I think there was reasonable doubt, even though I would likely lean towards guilty.

I just saw The Stair Case on ABC TV. Two hour insight how the case was formed. The DA had a field day with the gay escort and hard core porn sites. The escort on the witness stand asked to detail his sexual business. The hardest part was to see the effect on the defendants two daughters. Those poor girls were just broken when the jury found him guilty. The DA aked the escort, do you have many married men as clients? He replied, yes most of them are married. Doctors, lawyers, judges, etc. DA, how do they find you? Escort, on a web site M4M. I am not one to judge anyones life choices, but how do you get married, have children and nobody knows who you are? When the wife and kids find out dad sleeps around, the entire family is is broken apart. Just looking at this man's sons listen to the escort tell the court, Mr. Peterson wanted anal sex with me, how do they live with that? The judge then gave him life without parole.

Brad (didn't get last name, though it was mentioned on the show), stage name "soldiertop", was the escort who had to testify in the case last year...I didn't see it on Court TV earlier this year, but it was only just now shown on PrimeTime on ABC...a search for "soldiertop" here on hooboy will show the discussion that occured earlier this year and last year...Brad seems to have dealt with the publicity very well and his posts here are intelligent and straight-forward...his reviews are here under Brady Biggs in Indianapolis and his website is

his involvement in the case was apparently negligible and, perhaps, only served to titillate the proceedings and favor the prosecution, though it seems Peterson was entirely guilty

After reading Brads connection to Indianapolis my question has been answered as to why i am recieving a threatening e mail from a particular individual in Indianapolis whose name 'Kevin" appears in the email address. It warns that this site and all individuals listed in the Indianapolis area are under investigation and that it quotes statue regarding prostitution in Indiana.
