Wow, life sure is strange. I just watched the movie "The Believer" two days ago on Showtime on Demand, and the lead role of a Jewish boy who becomes a skinhead, anti-Jewish guy was played by Ryan Gosling! Never heard of him before that, but definitely thought he was HOT! and I keep seeing his name pop up in other movies! LOL! is this a sign? :o

He's also very good in "The Slaughter Rule". It's on Sundance channel a lot or it's out on DVD too. He plays a HS football player in Montana. It's a very interesting film about a football coach who may or may not be gay who recruits Ryan's character to play on his team.

I think Ryan Gosling is not a total hottie but also a really good actor. I too have seen " The Believer " and " The Notebook ". A few nights ago I had the chance to see " The United States Of Leland " with my family and Ryan Gosling plays Kevin Spacey's son. Suffice to say, I thought the story line had a nice slow build up to a complete suprise ending. I thought Mr Goseling was really good. I also remember watching " Murder By Numbers " starring Sandra Bullock. He stood his ground and kept pace and in some ways I thought he gave the better performance of the two actors. This is just my opinion but one of the aspects that I've noticed about his roles is that he seems to go from strength to strength. He really shines in his performances. I hope he continues acting for quite some time to come.
