Why is Medellin Special?

I keep reading and hearing that men in Medellin are especially handsome/sexy.

Accepting that as a fact, a question of (academic) curiosity:

Why?

As far as I know, they are not ethnically different;

What happened to the genes there?

As in Medellin, Colombia? That is not my experience with Paisas. There are handsome guys in Medellin, yes, but I have not found them to be any more special than guys in Bogota or Baranquilla or any other Colombian city, or for that matter, any other country. Would love to hear opposing views bc I'm always up for further field research
