Since Hustlaball Vegas has sponsors other than Rentboy that don't have the attendant legal issues (Naked Sword and Tom of Finland's foundation, IIRC from a prior thread), DHS' presence might be viewed as a First Amendment violation.

 

They were at last year's event in NY because they were building a case against Rentboy. Knowing how cheap and underfunded the government is, I doubt DHS would fly the Brooklyn agents to Vegas or ask agents in Vegas (I presume ICE has some there) to check on it. They're more apt to declare victory by virtue of the shutdown and prosecution and call it a day.

Nope. Way too high profile of an event. Not worth the risk. Just cause the feds might not be interested doesn't mean LV metro wouldn't be. Im keeping my cute lil ass right here in Chicago under the radar.

Hustlaball Vegas in past years was just sponsored by RentBoy, it was never actually organized nor put on by RentBoy. The original complaint filed by DHS does not mention Hustlaball a single time ( It does mention the Hookies ).

 

Whoops. I can tell I'm tired. I had a funny feeling about what I wrote; clearly I mixed up Hustlaball and the Hookies. Maybe because both start with H?

 

Neither are my thing, but it's a great big world out there.
