Gay people discriminated against and punished

I know in the U.S.A we've made lots of progress with gay rights and more needed but when we see news articles like this and what is still happening to gay people around the world, we should be grateful to live here.

Compared to Tunisia, yes; but compared to Spain, Germany, France and 10 other countries, not so much.
