Yet another movie post

This evening I rented a japanese anime feature called "Tokyo Godfathers". It's a strangely beautiful story about three homeless people (one of which is a drag queen) who find an abandoned baby. Not the typical sci-fi/fantasy fare I normally associate with anime, nevertheless it's visually gorgeous and a great, moving story. Oh, I'm getting all teary-eyed just thinking about the ending again...

There's some great animation, even for those not into Sci-Fi...

 

I've heard a lot of good things about Tokyo Godfathers and am looking forward to seeing it.

 

The best Anime I've ever seen, hell--one of the best movies I've seen period is Grave of the Fireflies. It's absolutly amazing.
