Now that I've read the article and seen the photos: Tovey looks good as a blond. I still really like his dog, too. And he has a refreshingly clear-eyed approach to fame and fandom.

Saw "A View from the Bridge" tonight. Tovey looked really good from my third row seat. Saw him previously in "The History Boys" as well as in the TV series "Being Human" and "Looking". I thought the blond hair worked on him and his oft-mentioned ears didn't seem at all noticeable on stage. I agree that he may not be a conventional beauty, but I find him very attractive. The play, as noted by others, is very intense.
