Thank you! When I get a request I take the next item off my "Nice to Have" list: My suggestion for you: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/taylor-9840prn-purple-digital-pocket-thermometer-with-sleeve/9139840PRN.html Which is needed to make consistant receipes that have yeast in them.

This year I've been putting a bakers rack in my kitchen which allows me more room to do baking. The first thing I made was the "Quaker Oats Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin cookies" (The original recipe is older than I am) which were mostly low-carb (had to get rid of the evil white flour somehow.)

The cookies were awesome and lasted almost three days. The 2nd batch is going in the oven tomorrow for the Guests that show up early. The plan is to take some of my favorite recipes and make them as low carb as possible, and put them back up on the web.

Been up all night yakking and just up to check the mail. The 2nd batch of vanishing oatmeal cookies were better than the 1st. I still need to change out the flour for a low-carb equivalent and if that is as awesome as last night's batch will write up the new recipe and post it. The holiday variation that we made up is magnificent.

Shout outs to JD Daniels who helped make the cookies last night and Sir Tony Bishop who we missed by just that [ ] much; babe show up in Las Vegas again and we'll make a batch just for you.

Had another request for a suggestion but he wanted to remain anonymous: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/8-qt-standard-weight-stainless-steel-mixing-bowl/407MXB8.html or a bit more spendy would be: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/vollrath-wear-ever-51008-aluminum-bread-loaf-pan-9-1-4-x-5-1-4-x-2-3-4/92251008.html (Let me know privately if you go with either one and I'll take it off the "It would be nice list.')

For Jimboivyo: Here's the amazon wish: http://www.amazon.com/quot-Footed-Draining-Grate-Sheet/dp/B00BUTIBZQ but it really is cheaper here: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/16-x-24-full-size-footed-draining-grate-for-bun-sheet-pan/4070038.html

Taking it really easy today; Trying to figure if doing the reviews for 11/12 would be violating my "no work on my birthday" ethic. I'll consider the issue over Cookies and Milk... Chocolate Milk... My special, wonderful, Baileys Chocolate Cherry Milk. Tall Glass, 3oz of Chocolate Flavoring and fill it the rest of the way with Milk. Much better than the Nestlé option, but only available for adults.

Have to admit, guys - The cookies were absolute scrumptious beyond belief.

You guys missed out royally as me and Daddy can get down in the kitchen. Indeed put a lot of love and care into baking these delicious cookies. ;).

And yes, they went good with a nice cold glass of whole milk to wash then down with. :p

Amazon is very nice. However, they tend to not have the products I like at a reasonable price. I'm the type of person that votes with my wallet. The example I gave you was a case in point.

ah. got it. well, how do folks buy and send from the links you posted? little slow here ;)

any criticicsm coming from a mostly dead website is funny. i'm happy to see that daddy had such a nice get together.

Click "Add to Cart" and then "Checkout," and then it'll be much like amazon.
