Various DC Issues

Well alright, with the exception of Aaron what is going on with DC? I was just there and had the great chance to meet up with Aaron but when I went out and about it was not the same. Mr P's is closed, so better or worse, but I just couldn't find a place to feel comfortable to have a drink and talk to someone; it was really sad. I use to be very excited for a small town person to get to DC and enjoy, but just isn't the same. Granted, I'm getting older but there was still some fun to be had...Rocky

Hey Rocky, sorry to hear that the remainder of your stay in DC wasn't the best in the world. The bars in this town are definitely on the way down. In fact, since I have lived here, about 4 or 5 bars have closed and none have opened to take their place. And the ones that have been around for a while (Fireplace, Mr. P's, Omega) are really showing their age. So, you're right, it isn't very easy to find fun places to hang out in DC much anymore. That is why I mostly avoid the bars and just hang out with good friends instead. It's much more fun!
