I've been seeing a good guy for a couple of years now. Very level headed and crafty. He also has several reviews, all of which are positive. He believes the cops in New York City are still going after people in this business. Twice already in Manhattan (once about a month ago and this past Wednesday night) he has set up meets with first time clients. In both cases, the client tells him to meet at a corner and then shows my buddy a photo of himself on the "client's" cell phone and asks if that is him in the photo. Then the "client" wants to verify the price and the other details before proceeding with the meet.

 

 

He definitely believes this is a sting. It certainly sounds like one and is not the way most clients behave. He walked away from these situations right after the "client" asked for verification. A smart boy at only 22.

 

I strongly advise everyone to be careful. I don't know what the hell is going on, but NYC has a lot more serious problems than this!!! Maybe Mayor DUH-blasio is unaware that street crime in NYC is up double digits this year!!!

I posted about my recent experience trying to setup an appointment with someone who seemed extremely paranoid, so much so we didn't end up meeting. I wonder if that's the reason.

I got very paranoid for some reason with a guy I'd seen a couple times before. He was in town, staying in a hotel downtown, and I just got a really weird vibe from him about him wanting me to come down to meet him rather than coming to my place. For some reason, some intuition was screaming "sting!" The little head took over and I did go to see him at the hotel the next day without incident. I can't explain what caused that feeling.

Hmm..you've seen him twice before yet you still thought he might be involved in a sting. Is this like busting a small time drug user and the cops using him to got after the dealers.

That would be unusual, but if they start using that tactic in the escort world, then... yikes!
