Burnt starring Bradley Cooper

Saw this new film with friends last night. I wasn't aware that the reviews were mediocre until AFTER I saw the film and then I was surprised. I loved the film, but I cook, maybe that made a difference. But I would also go to see Bradley Cooper read the phone book. But it did feel really authentic to me, what goes on in a professional kitchen at that level. And all the supporting characters were spot on, even appreciated the slight gay subplot angle.

 

I think Cooper is one of our finest screen actors and nothing he does here takes away from that. He's just terrific.
