I hired an escort with fabulous reviews...multiple....all 100% perfect...He showed up at my door looking nothing like his stats or reviews....I wrote a very true review...very negative..but 100% truthful..The review was never posted by Daddy's Reviews...I was told it was not specific enough...After talking to a few guys that have seen the same escort..they too had the same reaction as I did...Apparently there is some relationship between the escort and the site....So I almost never believe what is posted....unless I can verify..

It seems there are no certainties in life anymore...

I give very little credence to 1st or 2nd time reviewers. The weight I would give to the good versus the bad reviews would depend on the history of the reviewer. A bad review from a 5+ reviewer, who had previously given other escorts mostly positive reviews, would carry a significant amount of weight. I would give it even extra weight if most if not all of the glowing reviews were by new reviewers, because this would give extra reason to believe that the escort is a shyster. That being said, I wouldn't put much weight on one or two negative reviews if the escort has multiple good reviews from established reviewers. And I'd give very little if any weight to negative reviews from new reviewers if there are positive reviews from established reviewers. The escort's response is important, also.

My second-ever hire as a newb was a porn star with mostly fabulous reviews though a handful said he was cold and indifferent. I attributed the mix to bad chemistry or simply people who would complain about anything. I guess I wasn't his type because he was...guess what...cold and indifferent. :(

The really sad part is that I didn't know how things worked and went back for a second 2-hour dose of cold and indifferent.

I didn't write a review because of my naïveté and concern about pissing someone off. I wish I had - on the forums I've since heard about some of the others' experiences and they mirrored my own.

Whenever I see mixed reviews I try to read between the lines of the negative ones and get a sense of some unrealistic expectations or axe to grind. I will say that when I see a negative review and the provider has provided a clear, rational explanation that it goes a long way to mitigating the review. I think doing that can even turn a negative into a positive - I once hired a gentleman who had responded to a lukewarm review with an acknowledgement that he had been having a bad day and the client was right. That clinched it for me and we had a great time! :)

What I said was:

I'm going to decline the review. I read it very carefully and there wasn't a single line about the experience in the review. It was all poking needles in a voodoo doll. Once the needles were removed is basically said: "Very nice guy..sincere.sweet.polite."

Chemistry is a very real thing between two people. Also one's likes and dislikes vary from person to person. The result is that a gentleman could be the greatest thing since sliced bread for one person and an absolutely horrid experience to someone else.

On a recent cruise, I had chatted with neighbors on both sides of my cabin. We both shared the same stateroom attendant. One couple absolutely loved our attendant and wish they could take him home with them... they raved that every time they sat on the bed and left a wrinkle... if they came back to the room it was gone. The other couple however complained to housekeeping because they did not get a towel animal each day. (Apparently it completely ruined their entire vacation.)

Where I'm going with all of this is that each of us have different things that are important/valued to us. We also each have different personalities that interact differently with someone else's and heck... You can't 100% please everyone 100% of the time.

If someone has a bad review or two written about them, I won't immediately discount them. We don't know the full circumstances around that scenario.

  • Was the client having a bad day and taking it out on the escort?
  • Was the escort having a bad day?
  • Was there poor communication between the two parties?
  • Was the client a Redskins fan and the other a Cowboys fan? (Trouble in the making right there if you ask me!)

What I do personally is use it as a data point. It might make me ask my gentleman a question or two. I put more emphasis on what/how the gentleman responds than what others might say.

Now that being said... if there are a bunch of reviews all of which are negative, I'm likely to not even bother with that person. If everyone is saying bad things, chances are bad things are happening. :)
