is reserving a week with me and well i asked for 350 up front to continue talking and my amaze he sent it and now its "pending" but it shows on both our ends but via paypal i can't access it 7-14 days.

 

is this true? he can't switch the money back over??

 

thoughts? truths? reactions?

PayPal is a royal pain. Extremely sensitive triggers built into their system where all kinds of things can make a transmission look suspect to them and thus automatically freeze the account. Avoid them if at all possible.

The mans address and personal info is linked with the transaction (along with his company email address) the company email is even on a corporate website...

This could be error or some kinda fishy game--We all know about fishy games in this business, both by clients and "escorts" and masseurs alike

He sent it as an echeck. Make him cancel it and sent it the right way. Have him Call PayPal they'll know what to do, similar thing happened to me.

 

Killian is right -- if it's Pending, he can cancel it and send another way.

I honestly don't know how much of a concern this really should be. But under that logic everyone in the world should just stop using any kind of trackable method of transferring funds, regardless of the purpose. There's an old law on the books in a town I grew up by that would send you to jail for 3 years if you bought a bathtub with feet. Obviously not enforced but when it comes down to it, anything we do can be spun to be made illegal if someone really wants to screw you over.

 

I remember there being a thread earlier discussing alternative methods for submitting payments other than cash that couldn't be tracked. One being a money order and using FedEx Overnight.

 

In my case and in the case of several other escorts, depending on the circumstances, funds of some kind are needed in advance. Either as a deposit, travel compensation, etc.

Do you mean to tell me I should stop wiring money or sending an Amex gift card to my nephews and nieces for Christmas? There are reasons to send money if you can't give cash in hand, it's always your choice to do it or not.

 

I understand sending a check (trackable) or a money order (untrackable) to book a flight to an escort for a weekend... but paying with PayPal or CC an escort when you can just pay with cash and pay other things with CC I think it's a matter of common sense.

As a client, I would never hire an escort for a long-term appointment unless I've hired him for an hour first. It makes no sense otherwise. I need to know there's chemistry.
