Outrageously funny without Divine.

What can you say - It's John Waters.

One thing out of this movie that doesn't make any sense is - why wasn't Divine chosen for the main role as usual in his series of movies and Miss Liz Renay was? Very odd..

Divine had a commitment to a play (maybe Women Behind Bars? Or The Neon Woman?) and was not available. John Waters has said that Mole McHenry (played by Susan Lowe) was the role Divine would have played.

If Divine was in it, this would be my favorite John Waters movie of all time. It has my favorite quotation in it: "Men are such cunts." - Flipper (Cookie Mueller).

Divine would have kicked ass as Mole McHenry. Susan Lowe did an amazing job, but Divine playing the role, would have been 10x better in my opinion. ;)

Hey JD

You have great taste in films. I have been lucky to see all of John Waters films; even some of the 16mm early ones.

Best regards

Why Thank You!! Love nostalgia films such as this and many others. :). Very old school. Like being a old soul in a young person's body. Scary huh?:rolleyes:
