Rentboy and Escort Agency arrests

Years ago, before the internet took over, there used to be escort agencies. My favorite was "The Men's Club" which operated in San Francisco. They had great escorts, including popular porn stars of the day. It was quite personable. Another agency was "Boys to Men", but the owner committed suicide (or at least I was told).

 

However, in 1998, they got busted. (see attached article) It was quite expensive for law enforcement, but they did it. It was a reminder that escorting has risks for all included.

 

The booker, Mark Dungeon, was an escort I often hired. I was glad to read that he served no jail time.

 

With Rentboy down, I wonder if escort agencies will make a comeback.
