. . . has the rentmen website just disappeared? If so, how worrisome is that? Is it linked to the rentboy.com disaster or are they just temporarily out of service? Of course it could just be my laptop acting up . . . Anyone else experiencing difficulties in signing on to the site?

Please tell me what internet web browser you have and I will instruct you how to refresh cookies to avoid this from happening. I'm gonna lay down for a nap, so please hurry, I dont mean to rush you.

It's 1:14P in California. I tried to access http:www.rentmen.com, and a default just kept appearing. I typed in the name of one of the escorts as I did last week to get it, and again I received the same friggin' message. I do hope that the site is undergoing a few changes which is forbidding our getting into it!

So, scrtlovr, it is NOT your laptop; it's the site itself! :(:(:(:(:(

According to Rentmen, the ongoing changes to the site may mean that some Internet Service Providers around the U.S. are not yet accommodating the new protocols. Same thing happened in some areas of New York and Florida late August, when the updates commenced. If clearing your browsing cache as well as cookies does not work, you may need to download a VPN -- Virtual Private Network, like Tunnelbear, which is designed for end-users rather than techies. Very easy to do and to use.

WOW! What's with all these escorts who are so tech savvy? First Kurtis Wolfe and now Brian! Speaking of deleting cookies, we are certainly lucky to have some smart cookies here, who we definitely need to keep! :D

It is actually good policy to clean your cache out monthly just for proper maintenance. Also, be aware of the possible instance of cross site scripting (malware). I am not saying RM or M4RN has any of that, but one never knows what some third party might covertly put on a website. :)

It can help to clear cookies. Last time Rentmen got lost on the Interwebs clearing cookies didn't help. It also screwed up a few of my other frequently visited sites where the cookies were holding useful data. My Stud List on M4RN, for example, appears to be tracked via cookie. I really shouldn't have to trash all of my persistent data from online shopping sites because of what appears to be a Rentmen exclusive behavior. Many websites perform updates every day, and Rentmen is the only one I've seen in a long time that gets confused in this manner.

This time I dug into Chrome's advanced settings and found a way to delete cookies for Rentmen only. It didn't help.

I do understand that none of this is your fault...

This is not caused by your browser. I am accessing via tmobile wireless in San Diego. DNS server is returning the wrong IP address. Possibly a hack. Possibly a seizure. Possibly somebody forgot to pay their bill or maxed out their bandwidth quota. Hard to investigate while finger pecking on a tiny phone...

I'm on MetroPCS (which uses t-mobile's network) in Washington State using Safari on an iPhone. I have no trouble getting Rentmen.

They seem to have some strange dead spots in the area where I live, and I'm not impressed that much with their customer service. Plus the idiot at the store when I got my plan didn't explain the options well. Other than that it's the cheapest that I know of with unlimited data. I'm kind of surprised T-Mobile doesn't fold it up inside itself. I don't see the advantage in them having two brands with each basically offering the same services as the other but one being cheaper.
