I must admit, long ago I fell for one of Jason Crystal ads. So he isn't an urban legend.

 

He was using the pics of model Todd Seinfeld. He advertised for massage. When I got there he kept the room dark to hide who he was, but there was enough light to clearly see it was indeed Jason Crystal.

 

I went through the massage. Which wasn't very good. We talked a little afterward. He sat in a chair in his hotel room as I sat on the bed. He said some things to me that came off as abrasive and stupid when I mentioned something he didn't agree with. The little bit of light coming through the shade was more than enough to see his face even more clearly.

 

It definitely was Jason and not Todd sadly.

- always in his 20's

- always fully versatile

- always cut

- either Caucasian/Latino or Caucasian/Asian

- always safe

- always non-smoker

- always bi-sexual

- always never to drugs

- always lists all 7 talents

- always lists all 19 primary interests

- either $150/$150 or $140/160

- no cock pix included

- good looking guys with no tattoos

- usually all the pix included in the add are not even of the same guy

- usually the add will state he's just moved to your area from another state & he will have a phone number from yet a different state.

 

The real Jason Crystal has one daddys review listed under NYC. It's from 5 yrs ago.

 

Right now I can't think of anything else.

Jason Crystal is a former porn actor that started escorting about 6 or 7 years ago using his own pictures and porn name. He quickly acquired a bad reputation for not providing the services advertised but taking the money anyway. The bad reputation grew he at first began name changes but still used his on pictures. Once he wore at his welcome with his own pictures, he began using some else's pictures, but continue to keep the same ad text and phone number. Once that didn't work anymore, he began changing the pictures and phone numbers, but there's always a similar pattern to the ad text (even if it isn't exact) and the stats are usually similar. He uses a set of pictures until people catch on and then he moves on to another set. It's the same guy that had you posing the question: "Am I Terrible Person" after you sent he to the wrong hotel room. Same guy...different phone numbers and pictures....but same guy.

There's a pattern to his ads...it's easy to recognize (at least in my opinion).

 

Oh, and in the current Jericho and Robby ads, every picture in that ad is of a different person, so if the ad were legit...who would show up. There have been several posters who reported answering these fake ads and the answer is always "Jason Crystal".

I answered one of his ads a while back, it fit all the criterea that BabyBoomer quoted. When I spoke to him on the phone, whatever I asked about he was OK with it, with neither any hesitation nor enthusiasm whatsoever. Initially we agreed on a time and I gave him my hotel info. My better instincts told me to cancel, so I called back and politely said I would not be able to make it. That's when he started calling me 'fuckin faggot' and repeatedly texted and called to say he was coming to my hotel to get his money anyway. He kept reminding me that I gave him my room number and he would hunt me down. This went on for several hours, fortunately nothing came out of it.

 

I agree that latest ad is him. (That exact same ad was in Dallas last week, and I immediately thought of him again). The pictures and phone number change, but those who know, just know from all the telltale clues. I did not know he had a name, Jason Crystal, until I started posting here much later, I just knew him as 'that scary scammer'.

 

Sometimes two or three absolutely gorgeous guys will suddenly show up in your town, they span all the major races (even though they don't really look it), and have similar low rate of ~150. You'll see the same guys move to another town in a few weeks. That's him, too.

I reviewed "Danny" on rentmen.com, said that I hadn't met him, and reported that "Danny" was using the same third photo that "Russell" was using last week. Rentmen.com reviewed my comment and posted it! I hope that, by reporting on the cite that the guys are using the same photos, we can help each other not get ripped off.

I clicked on the name of the reviewer. After some details, I realized that I had hired the same guy last year. Different pictures, but the guy acted the same way and had the same "tics."

 

The guy decided to donate his time with an erotic massage but didn't want to disrobe, but still wanted his money. He seemed a little off, in the way discussed above. And he wore a blue tracksuit.

But even aside from that-although I'll admit to not being the best at matching facial features in different settings/lightings/hairstyles, and what have you-I don't think picture #1 matches several of the others.

I don't remember exactly how long ago it was. He kept his clothes on. I have no clue whether he was still nicely built.

I'm sure he used Todd's pictures because in a dimly lit setting he probably could pass for Todd. However, like I said there was enough light in the room to see it wasn't ole Toddy boy.
