I have trouble sleeping, so I like to use a sleep mask/blindfold to keep the light out.

But I finds the ones I have purchased at department stores or on mainstream web sites do not block 100% of the light.

So I was looking at this one from Mr. S Leather: http://www.mr-s-leather.com/HT064/ultra-blindfold.html

Does anyone have any experience with this blindfold or something similar? (I do love the first customer comment, too!)

I'd rather not use a full hood if I can avoid it, but if I have to....

funny...thought I was the only one to use a leather blindfold to sleep. same problem with light here! have a blindfold that I got at the leatherman here in NYC—fairly comfortable, but the strap is crap. plan to get one custom made in the near future. keep us posted if you find something you love?

I had one made of neoprene with an elastic strap fastened in the back by Velcro. It was cupped outward at the eyes so that there was no pressure on my eyelids. I found it in a Walgreens in Vegas. Eventually the strap wore out. I can't imagine wearing the leather one. The straps and buttons look like they'd be uncomfortable from many positions on a pillow.

Somehow I did not expect this thread to be about sleeping! An escort gave me one that came from the Leatherman in NYC. I find it very uncomfortable to wear as the elastic strap causes way too much pressure on the eyes. If it's not comfortable for play I can't imagine sleeping comfortably with the darned thing!

Yeah, I've got five or six inexpensive ones and that's a common problem with ones that fit snugly.
