Anyone know of any gay brothels like Villa Gianni in London elsewhere in Europe??

I'm on my travels in Europe and just about to leave London where I've had good times (at Villa G and with private boys)...

There used to be a couple in Amsterdam. But they were more like bars where the guys were walking around. Forgot their names, and they may be long gone, the Internet having changed the business. Also at least one sauna in Barcelona which is to a large extent guys selling their services.

The bar in the link is one of those in Amsterdam that bobchitown referred to, jgesq. I had a good time there when I visited it about fifteen years ago (how time flies!), almost in the pre-Internet era. Then, it was basically a bar where working boys mingled with patrons and you could go to a room in the premises with the one you chose. Not exactly the Villa Gianni setup, no boys behind a one-way window, but rather some kind of interaction. I remember that the bartender also showed you pictures in an album and you could pick a boy from there too. I have no idea how it works now, I didn't know it was still operating.....

I have had good experiences at both Paragonya in Zurich and Sauna Adan in Madrid. Paragonya was exceptionally nice, modern and clean when I was there a few years ago. Adan could use a serious freshening up. But I had plenty of selection at reasonable prices at both.

Years ago these houses of boys were advertised very openly and informatively in the annual SPARTICUS GAY GUIDES, and there were some (that I frequented happily) in Frankfort, Hamburg, Bremen, Cologne and the ones mentioned in Amsterdam too. There was one also in Prague, but it catered to borderline "jailbait" -- way way too young and lithe for my taste, although there were a few bars in Prague that had a more "over-21" clientele and had rooms upstairs.

Unfortunately, in this day and age of social media contacting, these establishments seem to be fading and I am not even sure that SPARTICUS has annual publications any more (they even had a separate publication in years past of just saunas).
