Forum Ignore feature

I just discovered the forum Ignore feature. When you add a forum member to your Ignore list, you no longer see their postings on the forum pages -- they just disappear. I tried putting one forum member in my ignore list for a while and it was nice. He was gone! But then I ended up “un-ignoring” him again. Don't know why... maybe I like seeing a car wreck once in a while. But it's nice knowing that the Ignore feature is available when needed.

Ignoring makes following some threads very difficult.

Rather than use the ignore feature, I simple skip over topics that do not interest me. At times I have used the same technique to avoid a poster.
