I would do a double bill with Andy Warhol's TRASH - and not only to stare at Joe D'Allesandro, although that itself would be a great reason alone for watching that film. (Along, of course, with the brilliant Holly Woodlawn and tragic Andrea Feldman,)

A friend of mine told me they were going to make the sequel to Pink Flamingos, but put a holt on it for some odd reason. Anyone heard of this possibility of them making a sequel after the release and success of it's originator?

John Waters wrote a sequel called Flamingos Forever (it's published in a book called Trash Trio, along with the scripts for Pink Flamingos and Desperate Luving).

I can't remember which actor he mentioned (I think Edith Massey), but he did say that their death was the 'final nail' in the coffin for Flamingos Forever.

No kidding, Will? Really? That's surprising.....

Sound like they were in the process of making it, and it being released. Did he say what year they were looking to release the film?

Production never started on it. Although I wish some brash new unknown filmmaker would film it (without permission because they could probably not afford it) and release the film in the Internet. ;)
