Montana bar to host Testicle Festival

CLINTON, MT (KTVH/NBC) - Deep in the mountains east of Missoula, Montana sits the Rock Creek Lodge.

 

Once a year, for one weekend only, the bar hosts the annual Testicle Festival.

 

"It's a huge party you get about 6,000 people who show up here," manager Nel-Lani Powers says.

 

Those 6,000 people get to enjoy the culinary delight of Rocky Mountain Oysters.

 

A lot of work goes into getting the testes ready for the big event.

 

"You get the balls in whole and you sort of defrost them a little bit, and you peel the membrane," Powers explains. "Then you can slice them with a meat slicer and then you get your seasonings, and you just hand bread them."
