Grey skies are gonna clear up....

Hey buddy,

I read this thread but felt others had already given you good counsel, so I didn't want to just ditto what others had said.

(Al Pacino: just when you thought your were out they suck you back in...)

Well, I can see that you have begun to look at your life differently and by interacting with the guys here, it has given you some additional perspective. That's great.

Whatever you decide, it'll be good because it has given you some focus on other things besides feeling bad. That's the ticket friend.

Come and visit a bunch of us in Florida in May.

:D

I'm sure the blip is due to gambling addicts who've ruined their lives with their addiction. I doubt it's due to the employment or social culture.

Unicorn, having lived in Las Vegas I will tell you-the"culture"that is there sucks big time.It is a truely depressing place and has a really fucked up population. Many folks leave within 3 years of arriving(I lasted 4)so yes,the gambling addicts(and it is so easy to fall into that trap)add to the suicide level-but the general dispair that hangs over the town messes up your head.

I still like to visit once in a while-but I am happy that I now have the chance to leave when I want.
