Rate question from newbie

Hey guys. I'm about to hire my first escort and I have a dumb question: If your session goes 30 minutes past the hour, are you supposed to pay for a total of 2 hours, OR only an additional half hour, which would presumably be half the hourly rate? For example, for 90 minutes at $300/hr, is the cost $450 or $600? Thanks

Hi Cliff, your question isn't dumb. I's one we all have to address when we start hiring. It really doesn't matter whether one hires an escort for one hour, a couple of hours and a meal, an overnight, a weekend, or an extended travel get together - ALL SESSIONS COME TO AN END. I have always believed it is as much the clients responsibility as it is the escorts to keep tabs on the passing of time thus I make a point of glancing at a clock or watch now and then.

 

When it comes to sex I absolutely hate to feel rushed. I want to relax and savor the entire experience therefor I NEVER hire for a single hour but rather for a couple of hours and a meal. A two hour romp works great for me and I don't have to be concerned about rushing things BUT I still have to keeps tabs on the passage of time.

I have a different take on this subject. While I generally hire for more than 1 hour, I make the assumption that the escort is keeping track of his time. I don't feel the need to keep track of my time as I don't charge myself. I say it is up to the escort to fit the meeting into the time contracted. Anything over is on him. I have never had an issue working this way.

For me too! I've had escorts say up front "I'm not in a hurry" and similar indicating they are not clock-watching.

If it does go over by quite a bit I might give an extra big tip. But that's voluntary as far as I'm concerned.

Otherwise the escort is amending the agreement without my consent.

Many escorts are pretty flexible about time. If you hire for an hour and it runs over a bit (within reason,) generally that is not an issue. With a 2 hour booking, there is usually even more flexibility especially if the escort is very social and talkative. I believe it is the escort's responsibility to keep track of the time and generally they do that or they simply don't care, so whatever was originally contracted stands. If you feel you got way more than you paid for in time or services rendered, tip generously--that usually takes care of things nicely. On two occasions I hired for one or two hours and we wound up watching the sun come up which had not been planned. These were very special men, and we really bonded--it was magical and that happens seldom, at least to me. I tipped quite generously, and everyone was happy.

With an escort you've never been with before, you're taking a lot for granted if you go blindly ahead without discussing time-keeping beforehand. You don't want to ruin the experience by a lack of communication. It's a simple matter to let him know that you're hiring for an hour and hope to be so into the experience that you would like him to keep track of the time.

 

When I was new at this and unsure of how much time I would need to get into things, I would ask whether the escort was open to an arrangement where we started with a guaranteed hour but might extend to an hour and a half if we were both agreeable, and asked what his rate would be for the longer period.

If you want to stick with the $$ you've committed to you can start the session by saying "I tend to lose track of time when I'm chilling after sex, don't be afraid let me know when you need to leave." Or, when you think the agreed upon time is over you can say "I should probably let you go" or "I should probably go now" depending on where you are. It's then up to him to either say "yeah, guess so" or "no hurry, I'm enjoying this." If the later, he gets a nice tip, but no need for the full charge for the extra time. I once booked a buy for an hour and he just hung around and chatted for three extra hours (with another fuck thrown in) saying "I've got nowhere to go an I'm enjoying this."
