Info on New Orleans scene; escorts, bars, bathhouses, etc.

Heading to NOLA in a few weeks and looking for updated info on the scene there. I understand that there are previous threads, but hoping for updates on escorts, bars, clubs and bathhouses...any info is appreciated...thanks

I don't believe that there are any bathhouses left in NOLA. "The Club" has closed, and the building is being converted to condos.

 

The Corner Pocket is still your best bet to find boys for hire.

If you would like to try something a bit wild, and off the beaten path, try checking out The Phoenix Bar over on Elysian Fields. Be sure to wander upstairs to the small bar up there.

I'd have to agree with the above two posters. Bath house sold this past year. There usually are a couple escorts (or more on big weekends) visiting in town but only rarely someone who has been reviewed here. I have had decent luck at the Corner Pocket and I have had not so decent luck. Be careful in picking non-dancers up there. Management tries to weed out problem guys whom they hire so you have a little prescreening with dancers. Also sometimes dancers come in the bar in very late afternoon and you can find someone at that time (or the place may be totally deserted and it is a waste of time.) At night, They have a back area behind the pool table but no private rooms and you can't do much easily besides some heavy touching. Lots of ex-cons and addicts in the quarter so be cautious taking a guy hanging out in the bar. Rawhide and (as the poster above says) Phoenix Bars have back rooms (upstairs at Phoenix) if you are into that. I think both have some 'lights out' nights. Both get packed on event weekends.
