I absolutely always ask if the guy has favorite brands of both lube & condoms....& ask if he will be bringing or if I should supply.....in my experience, some tops will use whatever, the better ones seem to know which brands they like to use best......as the bottom guy, I'm fine with whichever brands the top guy wants.....if it's a foreign country (or even domestic) - if his choice is something exotic, I suppose I expect him to supply.

I had always had the view that if I was paying for sex I was paying for the providor to supply condoms, lube and so on.
