It definitely appears to be Alexander Volkov from Lucas. (Speaking of which, I wonder why it's taking so long for his first scene to come out. Lucas has been promoting him for months now.)

I can't read speak to the rudeness, or inability to gauge that via text. But I've gotten similar responses from guys in other locales to which I have future travel plans, when I've inquired well in advance of a potential meeting. I think some guys just don't know what their schedule is going to be, and so don't want to commit, while others are wary of non-local flakes who contact them without realistic plans of meeting.

These guys often live very unplanned lives - they're on the road frequently. I consider his response honest and straightforward, not rude.

It was really the "not now" part of his text that struck me as mildly rude. I'm fine with the overall message - I understand people often have very uncertain schedules, but it kind of implied that I was asking waaaaaaay too far in advance and that I was kind of wasting his time. And we're only talking about three weeks here.

 

I am assuming that English is a second language, so sometimes the language barriers can kind of get in the way and make things comes across differently. I'm only applying this level of scrutiny because nobody appears to have met him yet.

 

Anyways, I'm still very much interested. Since he prefers somewhat short-notice appointments, I'm very much interested to see if anyone meets him in the very near future. If I lived in New York and weren't just an occasional visitor, I'd probably go ahead and set something up.

I'm prepared to be jumped on all over for airing this generalization, but what we take as rudeness is just Russianness. I can't help but notice that Russians are very frequently so toughly blunt as to seem rude to us more polite sensitive Westerners. Many of them just seem cranky and crabby, impossible to be pleased. It's a long tradition of theirs.
