I had a wisdom tooth removed just over a week ago. The oral surgeon did a follow-up check yesterday, removed stitches that had not dissolved and said everything is healing like it should.

Does anyone know how long to wait before performing oral sex on an escort? I have someone in mind. As you all can probably guess, I didn't want to ask the doctor.

well since you did not want to ask your doctor you could look online

However you said that your oral surgeon said "everything is HEALING like it should". The key word is HEALING. They did not say HEALED.

I can definitely relate to wanting to have oral sex but unless the guy is wearing a condom then give it at least another week minimum. Not only could you risk possible disease infection you could also develop a dry socket in the mouth.

This time think with the head on your shoulders, not the one in your crotch.

If you act on your impulse too soon, you'll be talking to your doctor anyway. Always seek medical advice from your primary care physician.

You should wait until your mouth is completely healed. Disease aside, you do not want to risk opening up the wound. As others have recommended, wait a few weeks and talk to your doctor.

Definitely wait until completely healed. Also depending on how quickly you heal there might be some oozing of blood for a period of time. Therefore, to play safe and for some peace of mind it might be prudent to wait a bit longer. I'm sure your post op instructions advised you not to drink anything with a mere straw.

I would bet that your sucking action might be a bit more intense if you attempted to service that guy that you have in mind.

Just a hunch!

I spent some time researching online. Answers range from a few days to 4 or more weeks. I've decided to play it safe and wait a full 4 weeks. Will need to find the willpower though so wish me luck. I can be a horny devil.

If you are that horny, figure out some other ways to have fun besides oral !!!!!!!!!!!! 4 weeks is a minimum. Find a gay Dr. or a gay clinic for detailed explanations as to why you need to refrain. The negative consequences can and will outweigh any momentary satisfaction you will have gained by giving in to your urges.

After 4 weeks the soft tissue healing should have taken place. It takes 6 to 8 weeks for the areas to be superficially comfortable. That is if you press on the area it might still be sore. It actually takes 6 to 8 months for the underlying bone to more or less heal, sometimes even more time. However, that should not be an issue. Of course your mileage will vary, but with a little common sense four weeks should be more than adequate.

Helpful Hint! Any extraction comes with post op care as needed... If you have any questions just call your Oral Surgeon and ask to be seen just to play safe. You don"t need to tell him specifically why either, just that you are concerned. Any surgeon worth his salt will be glad to check things out and there should not be a charge either.

I know of a guy who got infected with HIV through oral sex (sucking and swallowing) after his tonsils were taken out a week earlier.

Better safe than sorry.

I can't imagine wanting to have oral sex (or any sex, for that matter) a week after getting my tonsils taken out.

After I had a tooth extracted, my dentist advised me to wait thee weeks. He was, by the way, entirely unruffled by my question, which specifically referred to "oral sex." As we talked a 70ish woman called to him and said she had a question. He said, "I hope she's not going to ask me what you did."

Get a "complete clearance" from your oral surgeon before you tempt oral sex on someone, with or without a condom. Your urgency could impair the healing process!

That's all that I can write regarding your initial query!!!! :) :)

I'll skip the spanking and go right to the oral sex, please sir.

Actually I would want a bit of flogging and nip play to go along with the spanking and oral sex!!!

But then again that's how I'm wired! :p :D

Done! Plus, this place (as is claimed by so many working guys and never seems to be the case) indeed has a "fully equipped dungeon play space"! :D

Winston,

You indeed did the right thing, and as the saying goes good things happen to those who wait. If I were in your shoes I would now make up for lost time, at least I'm giving you permission to do so. Just out of curiosity, did you mention any of this to your dentist or did you do it in a more subtle manner?

From what I'm told some dentists "have heard it all", so if you took the former route I doubt that he would have been overly "shocked".

I did ask my dentist....he advised to wait after flossing and vigorous brushing.....I have suffered with cold sores since I was a child....and know how painful that can be....as I got older they diminished in time and severity....I take a propahlaxis dose of an anti viral once a day.....
