Every holiday weekend in NYC is great except for pride weekend. There are so many parties and events to go to which require tickets, which are not cheap. On top of that there are drinking and other ahem, recreational expenses. Come on its pride, let's be real people are out celebrating not in their hotel rooms at night.

I agree. But local escorts are often around. Very early on, I remember meeting porn star Joey Stefano in a bar in South Jersey on the last day of gay pride of Philly gay pride weekend.

Yet, the number of "Rentboys' Surged ( to use an Uber expression ) from what is normally 450 on average to 550 the weekend of NYC Pride. It could also be the supply is greater and the customer can choose the visiting guest they may not normally have the opportunity to see. Conversely, there are 2 million people at the parade, somebody is going back to their hotel, not everybody wants to be with Boomer Banks and Ariana Grande ( lol ) at the pier ( clearly he was not on call )

I asked a similar question about pride the other weekend. It's one of the only days of the year where sex is freely given out left and right. The Valentine's Day for gay men, so to speak.

 

I found out pride is going down this weekend where I'm visiting. It's my second pride in 2 weeks. I'm currently configuring a way to make sure I'm out of here before the weekend comes around.
