This is someone I know on a personal level. I'm not in the country to offer much assistance but he has put up an ad and asked me to critique it. I told him to remove the first paragraph even though it is true. It makes him sound very needy. Also that he should post at least a body pic.

What do you guys feel? All input is greatly appreciated by him and me. Thanks guys

Yeah, tell him to delete the first paragraph. The rest of it is fine. A picture could definitely help or hinder, depending on what he looks like.

Agree with above...remove first paragraph, and face and or body pic would be essential. I like that he is willing to do even yard work, and other odd jobs. I will/would be in need of such a person shortly, but the odd jobs I need to clear with the 'powers that be'. All in all, I like his ad.

Additionally the first line of the last paragraph makes him sound desperate and that is not really a very good way to present oneself When hiring escorts most clients aren't all that interested in this type of information. The real question here is -- Does he want to escort or is he looking for some other types of work? If he wants to escort then he needs to post his ad on one of the escort site and get some decent photographs.

He is working upto the escorting thing. Right now he doesn't have extra cash to post an ad. I've asked him if he has the stomach for it and he believes he does.

People might try to unfairly low ball him for rates because they know he's feeling financial pressures. I'd also separate the ads. One for Escorting and one for his more sublime job desires.

 

An escort website would likely get him better responses for that. I'd be concerned for the type of responders he's going to get on CL.
