Nope, but in the last two pictures he bares an uncanny resemblance to my Italian ex-bf from my 20's. Wow. I do love a well prepared spaghetti bolognese.

I'd say he missed out; on making some Benjamins...why would he not provide a rate?

Probably just new to this.

 

Or tries to gauge how much he can get away with charging.

 

Or has some weird à la carte pricing scheme.

 

Or charges too much, so tries to get you interested before disclosing price.

 

Or wants to subtlety find out what a client is like (age, weight) before he decides to accept an appointment.

 

Or some combination of the above.

I think you are spot on....Some combination of the above. I think he wanted to suck you in first, and that's suck in not a good way. You missed out on nothing.
