I'm considering trying to meet some well reviewed escorts in NY like Ares and Zach Brown. Maybe Arek. Meeting a faceless escort ( meaning they don't send face pics out so I have no idea what they look like) is pretty risky no matter how well reviewed they are because we all have different likes and dislikes. Just because I like their body and the reviews doesn't mean I'm going to be attracted to their facial features. I don't want to come off rude but if I set up an appointment and I'm not attracted to them once I meet them is there a protocol for this sort of thing?

If that's the question, I believe the answers are yes, yes and no. You can always change your mind and walk away, but you owe something for the fact that the escort held the appointment and met you. That's because you understood the terms (in this case: no face picture) before you requested the appointment.

 

That's not an official "protocol," of course--just my take on it.

 

Personally, the lack of a face picture has never deterred me if other things have caught my attention. Nor have I found that seeing a face in advance is any guarantee of attraction when I meet a guy. You have a big selection in NY of men with and without face pictures; if it feels risky to choose one whose face you haven't seen, don't. On the other hand, in reviews and Forum discussion, all three of the men you mentioned have been called handsome.

 

Of the three, I only know Ares, and if you didn't consider him handsome, I'd have to consider you nuts. But again--that's just my take.

I agree with Starbuck above. If you think you're unusually selective as to what's an attractive face (and that it's a deal breaker), don't hire an escort who doesn't show his. If you take the gamble anyway, it's your gamble, not the escort's.

In my admittedly few meetings with an escort, what their face looked like wasn't the issue, it was whether what I had seen looked good to me. Maybe that will change after a few more hires, but I doubt it. If an escort won't show or tell me something about him that could be a deal breaker, that would be the end of it. If I've agreed to meet then it should mean I've agreed to roll with the known unknowns. It would need to be something extraordinary to back out. If he lied, different story, but if he declined to disclose and I had agreed to meet anyway, that's my problem not his.

The first escort I ever hired did not have a face shot and I met him anyway because he had a beautiful body. He was handsome and the meeting was a great success, but as I thought about it afterward I decided I had been lucky and maybe it wouldn't be such a good idea to repeat the experiment. Because Kevin Slater is entirely right. It is our gamble, not the escort's. To avoid the risk I limit my choices to escorts who have face photos. But saying this isn't exactly the whole story, because another near prerequisite is that they have appeared in videos. I occasionally make an exception but not often.

Yes, It can be risky to hire a guy without face pictures. So is making a choice based on years old photos. The problem is narrowing your choices too much leads to not getting the full escort experience; you pass on guys whom you may have ended up hiring again and again.

btw, I've hired faceless guys in DC and my favorite local escort doesn't show his face in order to get invited to dinners and trips.

Some gentlemen don't like to be seeing having dinner or on a trip with an escort who's easily recognized because of his face pics are all over the internet. I keep telling him to show his face but he won't do it because of discretion and he says he's never been turn down.
