There's an article in the NYT about some Poles not being happy about a motorcycle rally from Moscow to Berlin to commemorate the Red Army Victory over the Nazis. Basically people in several countries aren't happy due to the way Russia is flexing its muscle lately and are afraid that Putin might want their countries too.

So one of the mayors of a Polish city is definitely not happy about the rally passing through her city. In the article she quotes a Polish saying to express her disavowal of the rally - "It's not my circus. They're not my monkeys. "

Do we have a similar saying, or is this a saying of ours too?

I've seen "not my circus, not my monkeys" in posts by English-speaking people not of Polish descent, one of whom is a native of India. One of them even made an avatar/userpic out of it. So if it indeed is Polish in origin, it's thoroughly assimilated by now.
