After living in a two family house in Toledo which I spent years upgrading (the house was built in 1896) I moved to an apartment (CoOp) in NYC. I was **SO** glad not have have to deal with house repairs, emergencies, etc. There is an entire staff to do that. But, over time, I missed dealing with the infrastructure stuff, have been doing delayed repairs and maintenance on my Mom's house and will be moving there in the next year.
