China Bans Offensive Ads

With the beginning of the new year, a number of new laws go into effect in China. One of them bans "offensive" TV ads during meal-time. Examples of banned ads include hemorrhoid ointments and femanine products.

 

Another law now limits the number of ads allowed to interrupt television programs.

 

Wish the USA would follow suit.

I for one would love NOT to hear about yeast infections, douching and heavy flow days while I am having a delicious Cornish Game Hen or scrumptious home-made Gnocchi. I really can't think of any offensive commercials with male products only. The diarrhea commercials during din din also have to go.
