Sydney gay bars

I'm in Sydney for gay pride. Just arrived a couple of days ago and learning where things are. It's an amazing city and the weather is fantastic. I will be here till March 9 and would love to find a friendly bar with goodlooking friendly bartenders like the late Splash bar in NYC. Prefer early happy hours. Not looking for late nights or dance clubs with kids making me feel old lol. Just a nice hangout for a couple of drinks in the early evening with friendly patrons. Not looking to hook up necessarily. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Check out the local gay newspapers or Damron's Guide...there are so many places where you will feel welcome, and in my experience most Sydney guys are very welcoming to guys from the USA. I have had some wonderful times there on every visit. Met some great guys in bars that are "mixed" too... enjoy. Many of the clubs that are mostly "younger" guys have a great attitude towards ":older" guys !!
