In SLC you have the amazing Andrew Saks at M4RN. He is an incredible top with body hair and lots of muscles. He is 50 years old but it doesn't matter. He is very good at what he does.

Why the police harassement?

Well the obvious answer is that the LDS Church is very into keeping the citizens morally upright. They are strict on alcohol sales too. From Wikipedia "The alcohol laws of Utah regulate the selling and purchasing of alcohol in the United States state of Utah, and are some of the most restrictive in the United States". On the other hand the rigidness of the church may not be actually helping people as in 2004 Utah was the state with the highest level of antidepressant use. Now correlation of any of this with the LDS Church does not imply causation. But it's intersting to speculate.

There is a reason there are not many escorts in Salt Lake City, Police harassment.

Exactly.... of all places, why do you want to hire a gay escort there?

My friendly advice: Keep it in your pants in Utah, why taking the risk of getting caught by cops?

And don't even try grindr, the Church goes online constantly searching for any gay activity among its members. They would call 911 in a second and report this "visitor" offering a fake profile of a Mormon boy in the closet 200 to come to his hotel.

I have never hired an escort while in Salt Lake, and I don't use grindr, but what needs to be said for the record, there is a thriving gay community in SLC, make no mistake about that.

certainly agree with BVB.....though I know the Prop. 8 story, the now-tired habit of automatically blaming the LDS Church for any semblance of non-progressive attitude in Utah needs to be broken....go hang around the "9th and 9th" neighborhood in SLC and see how it looks....check out the local gay rag (yes, there is one!).....note that the majority of residents in SLC proper are Gentiles (non-LDS).....

here's the link to that rag I mentioned:

I have been traveling to SLC every couple of months on business since last winter. As i stated above, I have found my guy--I will see him at the end of the month. Put aside your preconceived ideas about Utah. SLC is a fairly progress city. I have changed my view of SLC a great deal over the last year. Obviously, you don't want to walk down the street trying to solicit an escort, but otherwise, i doubt that you will have any trouble using the three major websites. I am not LDS.

Yes sir! I'm in Salt Lake City tonight. Went by The Trapp, met a nice guy, we stopped at the grocery store, picked up a six pack of beer, and spent the rest of the evening relaxing....

FYI, Utah has some AWESOME craft beers. Check out Squatters, Uinta, Red Rock and Wasatch brewing companies. Heck, the Beer Hive Pub is 1 block south of Temple Square and has an awesome menu of craft beers for all over the West.

That Wiki quote in this thread is at least 10 years old. Utah formerly required drinks with hard alcohol to be mixed in a back room and served in front of the bar. But that's been changed for years.

;).....I'm damn jealous ISC. Great town SLC. Are you skiing by chance, or just on a little R&R run?
