Hey... just wanted to try and test the Craiglist waters. Sent off a couple of emails to the listed numbers, and both bounced back after several hours.

The addresses listed are of the format: [email protected]

Are you supposed to type the "anon-" part, or just start with the number when you send off a return email?

Thanks for any help from anyone!

Won't you please, please help me.

The e-mail address should appear as a link you can click on, typing the address automatically in your e-mail utility. Yes, it is the full address, including the "anon-" aspect of it.

These addresses actually go to a "regular" e-mail address; Craigs List just provides the poster with the opportunity to mask and disguise that address.

There are several possibilities:

You may have retyped it incorrectly, if that was the case.

The listing may be old.

The poster may have created and then deleted an account for this purpose.

Finally, the poster may have changed his mind or is no longer interested and is blocking such inquiries.

Marc the email link begins with anon. Best to simply click on the link or copy and paste it. The email address had to be valid at least when posted as you have to confirm your ad through your email address prior to it being posted. Give it another try as you might have typed it in incorrectly.
