My plans have been delayed by weather, so I will be heading off to California early tomorrow morning, the 4th. I am interested to know if anyone has any recommendations on what area might be best to book a hotel for this traveling escort, from Los Angeles to Orange County. Had been waiting to solidify my geography and had intended on trying out a few areas in the ten days I'll be there, but also thought this might be a place where someone would enjoy offering some insight. Nonetheless, I look forward to meeting anyone that might be hitting me up for my services while I'm out there amongst the warmth. Right now my listing is posted in Huntington Beach and my home base NYC as well.

Hey Brad. I lived in LA my whole life, so I can tell you the biggest problem is traffic. Navigating the city for you or your clients is not an easy task, especially during peak travel times, and often on the weekends as well.

My thought would be to stay somewhere in the West Hollywood area. Hotels are plentiful, and it is central to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and the Valley areas. With a large gay population, most guys are familiar with the area. And while it can be challenging, clients could make the run from Orange County to WEHO, or vice versa. As with any commute in LA, you have to pick your poison, and try to schedule appointments during those times during the day when traffic is less problematic. Whenever you go anywhere in LA, always allow plenty of time. I've seen freeways bumper to bumper mid-day on a Wednesday. You just never know.

IF you feel that the bulk of your clients will be out of Orange County and the south bay areas, then I would definitely stay closer to the OC. Going back and forth is just brutal. As far as hotels are concerned, there are some really nice ones, reasonably priced, in WEHO, but south around Crescent Heights and Melrose.

Good luck...I don't know much about the OC. I gave up going there years ago. lol....

Aw, so cool. Thank you much for all of that. I will look at hotels in that area for sure. I'm pretty familiar with WEHO as well… I just haven't advertised up in that area. Exactly what you said was my main concern, is what would be most vibrant client wise, and convenient for them to get to. Thank you for taking the time.

Best,

Brad
