I have stayed at the Ramada three times. Each visit I found it going downhill. My last visit in February 2003, I booked a suite at Le Parc Suite Hotel on 733 North West Knoll Drive. It is just down the hill off Santa Monica Blvd. A 10 min. walk from The Ramada. Telephone toll free 1-800-5-SUITES. It was a mini suite with sleeping alcove, big living room with a gas fireplace and full kitchen. Very nice restaruant and room service, valet parking. Best to call the hotel direct. I got a cheaper rate than Hotels.Com gave on line. Had no problem with having escorts over either. The only bad thing, is that walk up the steep hill to Santa Monica and the Ramada. I found Le Parc to be a nice hotel, clean and the service and staff first rate. 30 min. taxi ride to LAX.

I stayed at Le Parc last January for five days and loved it. The price was a bit higher than Ramada (I believe that it was around $125 a night), but it was well worth it.

 

It seems that Le Parc is a place where a number of movers and shakers from the world of hip hop take soime down time when they need it. My younger companion for the trip was in awe of who he was seeing while I was completely oblivious.

 

Le Parc is very comfortable and well appointed. Bringing an escort in was no problem. I consider it very gay friendly.
