After reading today's review of Brennan in Las Vegas I would never give any money up front. I have read about problems with up-front money before but this seals my beliefs. My sympathy to the writer of the review.

This guy got stiffed for $1200. He should have turned the escort away when he didn't look exactly like his pictures.

NO money up front. NO booking fees. NO deposits. NO pix of yourself to the escort.

+1 BabyBoomer. I was surprised when I read the review and the client went beyond "he didn't look like his pictures" and then he gave money up front?!? I don't think the client likes money and he was just looking for a way to get rid of it.

MY question is "didn't look like his pictures" as in older fatter etc OR was a tots different guy than the one in the pictures??? If it's the second well, then I agree with FrequentF lol. We have to use our heads regardless of any sob story, IF WE travel to the scort and he asks for his money up front, well then there's some (minimal) benefit of the doubt, a client "could" enjoy his company then bolt or go out to his car for his wallet and disappear etc. But when a scort does an OUTCALL to US our home our room etc, and demands the money up front before he even does anything, sorry, that is the Robot from Lost In Space flailing his arms saying DANGER DANGER lol. There's only ONE reason he does that: He has no intention of staying and every intention of just leaving with our money. Pure n simple :-)

Sorry, but that particular client needed to have that hard lesson. Why would you continue with a session if the guy who shows up looks NOTHING like his pictures? I don't get it.

Thanks for the clarification I read it quick and was just going by the air quote above :-) Too bad he didn't expand, even "looked nothing like his pictures" is open to interpretation, you ever seen a celeb without make-up lol? The words "wasn't the same person" would have been clearer if that was the case.

That a previously unreviewed guy shows up looking nothing like his pictures is the first red flag. That he doesn't want to mess around AT ALL before dinner is an even bigger second red flag. But then to ask for payment up front - not for an hour, mind you, but for an overnight... At that point I think it should have been pretty clear where this evening was headed.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't imagine booking an overnight with someone I've never met, much less someone I've never met AND who has not yet been reviewed.

Ha. You get there and the guy is completely different but your horny. He finally gives you a taste after much pleading but it's totally limp with him saying don't worry. I'm saving the best for later. Okay. Oh btw. Can I have 1,200 now. It's almost like he wanted this to happen.

I agree. Even in just a hookup situation (i.e. non-escort), I always prefer to get to know someone before spending the night. Even though I suppose the stereotype of the one-night stand is waking up with that person in the morning, rather than a quickie. I remember doing some of those "sleepover" one-night situations in college and beyond, and I knew then it never felt comfortable to me.

But of course I know other people feel differently, and would welcome a full night with a stranger rather than preferring to have a prior connection, To each his own.

I still have not hired that many guys over the course of the few years I've begun to do it. But I can think of 3 guys I would now welcome an overnight with if I wanted to do that (one is retired from the biz, though). But only because I already spent a really marvelous hour in bed with each of them. :D

I have met a few escorts where the chemistry just wasn't quite right, but I was still horny/interested enough to go ahead with things. But I haven't had a situation yet where the guy who showed up was not the guy in the pics. Horny or not, I know myself well enough to know that the misrepresentation itself would turn me off enough that I wouldn't go through with the date. And I'm talking for a one-hour appointment, let alone anything more.

Not to say that thinking with the "wrong head" hasn't gotten me into some odd and potentially (but never seriously) dangerous situations with plain old hookups in the past. But I like to think I've learned.
