Within the last 24 hours M4M's site seems to have changed types of the massage their masseurs offer.

It used to be either therapeutic, sensual or erotic.

Samples of what it says now:

4 Hands Massage,

Postural Integration

Techniques: Deep Tissue,

Sports Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (<---my favorite. Euphemism for "hand job"??)

Techniques: Deep Tissue,

Reflexology, Trigger Point,

Thai

I was amazed to read the above posts, and I just checked some of my formerly "erotic" masseurs on M4M. Seems that "erotic" has been replaced by "deep tissue" in many places. I don't like this at all; makes it much less convenient to surf these sites. But ya gotta love the euphemism "manual lymphatic drainage!" Kyle Vong, the well-known escort, now lists this, as do others. One of my guys now lists "tuina medical massage." I'll have to ask him what that means! I shall also ask one of my guys if and how M4M notified him of this change. The upper right corner of his site is now totally incomprehensible to me.

I was just informed by one of the masseurs I see regularly that M4M didn't inform him in advance of the change. This morning, I wrote to M4M to ask why they did this; let's see if they reply. Do you think that the police in some city are making life difficult for them?

Another of my erotic masseurs informs me that M4M never notified or asked him about this change. Although it makes my searches more difficult, it's not that consequential, but I'd still like to know why they changed the words. Probably for the same reason Masseurfinder changed erotic to "custom," whatever the reason was. I think Masseurfinder handled it better. Anyone can figure out what custom means, but not deep tissue, bakhti, or tui na!

I'm reliably informed that manual lymphatic drainage is a legitimate massage technique that stimulates lymph drainage throughout the body with the aim of increasing lymphatic flow. My informant, who is a medical student, is dubious about the advantages of this. But it's really a component of serious massage. (He says that on M4M, it probably does mean a hand job!)
