So I was looking on Rentboy and other spots, and there are definitely some sexy guys. But almost no reviews. Can anyone help me with the scene there? I'm looking for hot, passionate top guys.

There are some sites in Cape Town, but sorry I don't have the references for them right now. Also Gay Romeo will have them. You just have to be very careful, as HIV has been rampant there in recent years, although it may be better now. There are also some great gay bars there, but again be cautious as a westerner. It has been ten years since I was there, so sorry I can't give you more info. You might also check out Gaydar.

A friend in Cape Town reports that a hourly runs R700 (ZAR = South African Rand), current exchange rate vs. USD is 11.61 converted = $60.29. Lots of handsome men down there, and some available, but be careful!

(CNN)In Cape Town, South Africa, they're calling it "Day Zero" -- the day when the taps run dry.

City officials had recently said that day would come on April 22. This week, they moved up the date to April 12.

Cape Town is South Africa's second-largest city and a top international tourist draw. Now, residents play a new and delicate game of water math each day.

They're recycling bath water to help flush toilets. They're being told to limit showers to 90 seconds. And hand sanitizer, once somewhat of an afterthought, is now a big seller.

"Unwashed hair is now a sign of social responsibility," resident Darryn Ten told CNN.

This might be a disaster in the making...

Are we watching, America?

Residents of drought-stricken Cape Town received good news Tuesday when city officials said they now face losing piped water to their homes by July 9 — a month later than last forecast.

But Capetonians are not yet out of the woods. If drastic consumption reductions are not achieved by so-called “Day Zero” — the last day of normal water supply — people will have to queue at 200 standpipes for daily rations of 25 litres (6.6 US gallons)
