I do not see that a client going to an apartment (where there may not be any security) is better than going "to a cheap hotel" where there could be security, if needed.

 

In short, I don't see the advantage of an apartment over a hotel. For first time meetings, a hotel (a public place) is far safer than a private apartment, where safety is questionable.
