If you're looking for something to see here in New York both The Bullpen and Tail Spin are worth a look.

 

The Bullpen is a one man show written and performed by a former convict. He plays 18 different characters he met while in prison

and is very funny. The guy has real acting chops.

 

Tail Spin uses only the words of politicians caught in sex scandals as the basis for a funny show.

Think Anthony Weiner and others squirming in the spotlight trying to explain away their indiscretions.

Minneapolis airports, house page scandals, etc. The script is only what is on the record, nothing added.
