With all respect, does your cat have a name GallahadESQ?

Charlie has several names. Formally, "Charlie Cat Sunshine." From me: "Puss Puss." From my housemate: "Baby" and "Bitch."

Aww I've just caught up with this as I've been away. I am sorry to hear that. This time two years ago I had 7 cats. I've now got 3, one just died a fortnight ago which I blogged about. I've three left, Sushi, Pushkin and Felix. Pushkin is aka as The Devil Child to those that follow me. Pure white and pure evil

I hope your kitty turns up

And how long, pray tell, did it take them?

Let's see. I put the collars on (complete with an adorable little bell), walked to the supermarket three blocks away, walked back home, and was presented with the collars when I returned. I'd say under a half hour.

You know those cone collars they put on animals to prevent them from licking or scratching a wound? The feral I adopted had to wear one after she was spayed and the incision became infected. I brought her home from the vet, double-parked outside of my complex, went inside, let her out of the carrier, scurried back out, and parked the car in the parking structure. When I returned to my apartment there was the collar wedged between two dining room chairs and the cat curled up on one of the chairs in my lounge. Total time elapsed: less than fifteen minutes.

PS: I'm glad to hear someone thinks they saw your little guy. I hope you find him soon!!

This summer, he would leave in the morning (always after breakfast) and then come back on his own, frequently looking better, as though someone had combed or brushed him. And he also would NOT run to eat, which is what he usually does when he comes in.

I didn't know cats would leave home like that to "have an affair".

I thought only humans do that. :)
