I've done all the usual tests on the photos and telephone number but nothing pops up. Nothing - good or bad.

 

In other words, the ad is too clean.

 

Could it be that our analysis of bogus ads is being read by those who place bogus ads and now "selfies" and new and unused phone numbers are used in bogus ads? New telephone number SIM cards can be obtained for almost nothing from ATT and T-Mobile. Therefore, getting a "clean" number is effortless.

 

The photos appear to be "selfie" type photos which would explain why there is no match when a Google or Bing search is done.

 

Anyone with suggestions?

 

Could it be that the guy is legit?

 

There are so many bogus ads that it is nearly impossible to be sure of an authentic ad.

Google search works pretty well. I find it works best if you just use spaces and no other punctuation (917 204 0101 for example).

Thanks very much. When I tried the number search, I got nothing.

 

Your link took me to a known bogus group that advertises in the NY and LA areas.

 

I guess some of the ads manage to slip past searches which is why so many of us get scammed every now and again.
